AP CONGRESS MESS-POLITICS MAKES DELHI CONFUSED

The Congress is messing up with Andhra Pradesh, not only in terms of running its own politics, but even with the well-being of the people. It is neither letting the governance happen, nor is it letting the polity stabilise. As they say, the Congress high command wants to make up for some of its own follies by committing hundreds more.
They called Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to Delhi. Suddenly, they called APCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana. Close on the heels of this, they wanted Minister Danam Nagender (who hails from Hyderabad) to be present in Delhi, giving rise to a speculation that some decision on Telangana could be imminent.

Already, YS Jagan’s Sakshi media demonstrated its clamour for change of guard, if not at the C Block, Secretariat, at least at Gandhi Bhavan. Incidentally, every leader in the Congress knows about the temporariness of their assignments.

Anti-Jagan media went about town to show the proclivity of their political policy and began echoing the news of a possible ouster of tainted ministers in the Kiran Kumar Reddy Cabinet. In the same breath, they would talk about Kiran’s disinterest in removing these ministers from the Cabinet, considering their “loyalty”. Of course, most ascribe their loyalty to the fear factor — that they want to ensure that they were not arrested.

Meanwhile, when the situation is turning serious by the minute, the Congress packed humour into every day magnum opus. The Congressmen let former APCC president K Keshav Rao call on Sonia Gandhi. Soon after emerging out of the meeting, Keshav Rao claimed that he was satisfied with the meeting. He claimed that he had discussed Telangana issue and some personal issues also with the party president.

Meanwhile, Kiran Reddy had a two-hour meeting Ghulam Nabi Azad, though no details are available at the time of filing this report. Botcha Satyanarayana, on the other hand, had to stay put in his residence. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister’s camp is spreading a rumour that change in the APCC chief is imminent. Kiran had called on Ahmed Patel, the political secretary of Sonia Gandhi. In turn, Patel met the Congress president accelerating the speculation.

The mess of the Congress remains cluttered as of now in the State.
